If you live, work or play in bear country, bear safety training is a must. At Bear Safety & More Inc, our purpose is to provide industry, government agencies and communities with education and training so that we may exist more harmoniously with wildlife.
What are Online Self-Paced Courses?
On-demand training is self-directed online training. Staff can log in and out as they have time to complete the course.
Some of our courses do require a practical bear spray component and staff will be required to upload a video of them spraying inert bear spray.
Our bear safety specialists review the videos and provide certifications promptly.
What is Live Online Training
We use Zoom or MS Teams conferencing services to provide your staff with a live expert, teaching our courses to you on your home or work computer or smartphone.
Staff join the meeting through a link sent by email and can watch and participate in the class.
Our courses are just as interactive as the ones we teach in person. Staff is engaged, and has opportunities to ask questions and discuss bear and wildlife safety throughout the course session.

Practical Bear Spray Training
How can I get practical training in the use of bear spray in a live online class or a self-directed online course?
Whether you take our courses that include bear spray training live online or self-directed online, you will be required to do a practical bear spray demonstration. This helps us ensure you know how to use the product safely and confidently when it counts. Inert training spray can be shipped to your office, work site or a home address.
During the course our wildlife experts will go over how to use bear spray, provide a demonstration and instructions for staff to video and email their own bear spray demonstration to the trainer. We review the video and provide certification upon successful completion.
