Wildlife Awareness Training
Wildlife Awareness training is a course that gives you the tools to avoid negative encounters with: bears, cougars, moose, wolves, coyotes and foxes. You will learn what to do in an encounter or attack.
You will gain practical skills in the use of deterrents like bear spray. Participants will also learn about wildlife attractant management and current best practices. Students are taught how to reduce human impacts on wildlife populations.

Suncor Assessed Wildlife Aware
We are an official provider of the Wildlife Aware Level 2 required to work at Suncor. This course has been assessed and is considered an equivalent for staff or contractors working on Suncor sites.
A rising number of companies, such as Suncor, are making wildlife awareness training and practical bear spray training mandatory for staff and contractors working on sites with wildlife habitat.
This four hour course is for staff working in close proximity to wildlife habitat areas. It provides them with the knowledge of how to avoid bear and other wildlife encounters, and what to do in an encounter. It provides practical training in the use of bear spray.

Alberta Forest Product Association Wildlife Awareness Training
Bear Safety & More is proud to be working with the Alberta Forest Product Association to provide customized Wildlife Awareness Training for staff working in the Forestry sector.
This ‘NEW’ 4-hour course is intended for anyone who works in close proximity to wildlife habitat areas. Participants will learn how to avoid bear and other wildlife encounters, and what to do should an encounter occur. It also provides practical training in the use of bear spray.
